Abstract
Normally, the M?lerian duct is obliterated in the male except for its cephalad and caudla extremities, which persist as the appendix testis and prostatic utricle, respectively. When obliteration is incomplete, a midline cyst arises behind the
verumontanum extending above the base of the prostate. It occasionally communicates with the urethra at the verumontanum. Depending on its size, it may distort the normal position of the ejaculatory duct, urethra, bladder base and ureters, therby giving rise to bladder irritative symptoms, perineal discomfort, urinary retention, calculus formation and an increase in the incidence of carcinoma. We report a case of huge M?lerian duct cyst in 19-year-old male who was operated on with the diagnosis of M?lerian duct cyst with bilateral renal cysts and left ureteral stone.
